Every dataset goes through several stages before it becomes useful:
- Data Generation
Data is created through interactions, transactions, sensors, and digital activities.
- Data Collection
Collected from databases, CRMs, surveys, ERP systems, APIs, etc.
- Data Storage
Stored using databases, cloud systems, and data warehouses.
- Data Cleaning
Removing errors, duplicates, missing values, and formatting issues.
- Data Analysis
Using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and BI platforms.
- Data Visualization
Charts, dashboards, and reports help communicate insights clearly.
- Decision-Making
Organizations use insights to guide strategy, operations, marketing, and finance.
